Boardon is delivered by the Swedish EdTech company Boardon AB. The founders are dedicated learning specialists with many years of experience within the digital learning industry.
After completing numerous onboarding programmes for various clients, they found that there was a need for a process-driven, lightweight pre-boarding solution to bridge the gap between the day of decision/signing and the first day at the company and beyond. The company was founded in 2017, is privately owned and partner-driven.
How do your plans work?
Our plans are base on active users. One user that can log in occupies one license/seat. You can make users inactive manually or by a specific date.
Plans are purchased by credit card in advance with 3 months as the shortest period of time available. We feel that three months is a reasonable time to execute an introduction. You can always revert to the free plan (1 user) to try out the solution.
What limitations do the plans have?
We have divided our offering in three main types:
- Free (1 user)
- Subscriptions (4-100 active users)
- Enterprise (+150 active users)
Free has these limitations: 5 SMS/Text messages/month, (5/month), 10MB upload quota, Boardon as text-message sender and 1 administrator
The subscriptions have more flexible text message, admins and upload quota. You can also change your sender-id for text-messages. The batch import is activated for adding new users.
For Enterprise customers you get access to priority support, API, advanced CSS and training.
Do I need a credit card to create an account?
No, you always start in the free plan and then you can decide to upgrade to a paid plan from the administration. Then you are required to add your credit card details.
If you need to purchase by an invoice, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We offer this service mainly within the EU.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time?
Yes! You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your account at any time. If you cancel your paid subscription you will revert to the “free” plan.
Upgrades will take immediate effect and downgrades takes affect by the next period.
Does my plan come with free support?
Yes, we do offer support for the administrators for all plans, even the free plan. You can make a request to email@example.com or directly from the administrative interface.
Paid plans will get priority support and the Enterprise level can get phone support.
To which countries can I send text messages?
Our text-message function works in most countries in the world. Please contact us if you have a question for a specific country as this is subject to change. There are some limitations on using text as sender in some countries (e.g. “CompanyName”. This will then be substituted for a number.
